Blast room system is used in a wide range of industries that require surface preparation prior to the application of a protective coating. The surface of the workpiece is cleaned by a mixture of abrasive and high-pressure compressed air being directed at the workpiece by a blast nozzle. The blast room also provides lighting & ventilation for the operator’s safety.

Compared to open-air blasting, the controlled environment of a blast room has many advantages that justify the investment. Confining abrasive blast operations to a controlled, clean environment enables efficient abrasive recycling which has huge cost savings over using single-use abrasive.

PROBLAST – U.K.

The PROBLAST Soda Blasting Machine allows for a great improvement in the slippage of abrasive over a standard unit and a notable increase in capacity. It is suitable for all applications with the advantage of being designed to use more specialist abrasives such as bicarb, calcium carbonate, and plastic.

Standard machines are only available with either Thomson Valves or Micro Valve, as these allow the overall height to be reduced for ease of filling. It can be customized and made to order, to accommodate Grit Valves and Flat Sand Valves.
