BLASTING TOOL

Blastline offers a variety of Blast Room designs and room configurations which allow us to design a blast room facility uniquely tailored to meet the economic production, safety, and environmental concerns of each customer. This brochure will provide an overview of the blast rooms, abrasive recovery, recycling, and ventilation solutions offered by Blastline.

Blast room system is used in a wide range of industries that require surface preparation prior to the application of a protective coating. The surface of the workpiece is cleaned by a mixture of abrasive and high-pressure compressed air being directed at the workpiece by a blast nozzle. The blast room also provides lighting & ventilation for the operator’s safety.

Compared to open-air blasting, the controlled environment of a blast room has many advantages that justify the investment. Confining abrasive blast operations to a controlled, clean environment enables efficient abrasive recycling which has huge cost savings over using single-use abrasive.

Our design engineers can come up with a bespoke solution so that the resulting manual blast room caters to your every production needs, working with you throughout the design process, including helping you to choose what accessories you want to fit the system with. We provide a suitable, customized service, helping you sort through all the options to capitalize on any existing facilities and decide on specifications in terms of the professional sandblasting system’s dimensions and features

BLASTING GUNS

Designed for dry abrasive blasting where the air supply is limited or the job is small. It can be used with all common media to clean or etch metal clean masonry, etch glass, and other durable surfaces.

POWER INJECTION GUN

Clemco’s closed-circuit suction blast tool for spot cleaning, removing weld spatter, and deburring cut metal edges. Special attachments let you blast inside and outside corners, and on rough surfaces.

DUST FREE BLASTING EQUIPMENT

HOLLO BLAST

In the factory or on-site, now you can clean the insides of pipes up to 36″ ID

  • Easy to set up
  • All use standard pressure blast machine
  • No need to rotate pipe or tubing
  • Fast, economical, efficient pipe cleaning
Hollo-Blast cleans the full 360 degrees inside diameter of the pipe to the white metal finish. The Hollo-Blast will accommodate pipes from 2 inches to 12-inch I.D and length up to 40 feet. Any abrasive (except aluminum oxide or silicon carbide) 20 mesh or finer may be used. In operation, the proper model is attached to a pipe lance and connected to a blast hose. Hollo-Blast tools feature tungsten carbide nozzles with tungsten carbide deflector tips to distribute a uniform blast inside a small diameter pipe.

INTERNAL PIPE BLASTING

PNEUMATIC BRISTLE BLASTER

PRECISION BLASTING EQUIPMENTS

MBX – GERMANY

The MBX Bristle Blaster offers distinct advantages over the conventional surface preparation methods and will yield superior results – with far less time and effort.
Bristle Blasting is a new, simple maintenance solution that removes corrosion and generates an anchor profile in a single step. It is suitable for spot repairs as well as larger areas where other processes are prohibitive – does not use/produce environmentally unsafe or hazardous material.

ELECTRIC BRISTLE BLASTER

ROTO BLAST / SPIN BLAST

The Spin-Blast cleans pipe at rates unobtainable by any other means. The Spin-Blast comes in different sizes: for pipes 8-inch ID to 36-inch ID, with the standard nozzle head.

Adjustable carriage is used to fit the tool to the pipe diameter size. These Spin-Blast models are productivity tools, best used in a controlled environment, where they can be maintained as needed for the production schedule. Spin-Blast mounts two venturi blast nozzles in a spinning head to blast a large diameter pipe. Centering carriages help ensure uniform coverage.
